If you prefer the fancy version, there’s an official bio on the media page, but in reality, I’m pretty simple and down-to-earth. I am so thankful the Lord placed His calling on my life to do exactly what I do. I’ve learned, after many years of trying to be someone other than myself, that there is ONE thing I do better than anyone…being ME! Once I learned that valuable lesson, the result was freedom! Freedom from trying to measure up to some standard that changes as the times change. Freedom from doubting my calling. Freedom from second guessing every sermon and Bible study I put together. The truth is, God can use us all if we are available and willing.

I grew up in a pastor’s home, and I loved every minute being a PK. All the good times and bad. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I’ve watched my parents stand firm through struggles, up’s and down’s, victories, mountain-top experiences and journeys through the desert. All of those experiences allowed me to see how to handle real life, real pain, and real disappointments. But those experiences also taught me the joy that comes when you know that you know, you are doing what God called you to do.

My highest honor has been the opportunity to work with Dave Roever (Roever Evangelistic Association). I have learned so much and gained the support and friendship of a great minister of God. What a blessing!

So when I am not traveling, you’ll find me home, being boring according to some people. A night on the couch with my hubby, watching an old movie and relaxing…I’ll take it! I’ll cherish it, because…I’m just a simple girl!

Dave and I married in 1993 after dating for a year and a half. It’s just the two of us; no kiddos, but lots of nieces and nephews that we try to love on as often as possible.

Dave grew up in Michigan with parents who were faithful to the Lord and their church. He attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, MN pursuing a degree in percussion. He went to work at Roever Evangelistic Association in Fort Worth, TX. When he arrived in Texas, he learned to love two things: Mexican food and ME!

Dave played drums on, and produced all three of my records. He is my best friend, biggest supporter, and makes me laugh…sometimes at him and sometimes at myself…He is one of the many blessings God has given me. We love to ride our motorcycles when we are home and when it’s not 1,000 degrees in Texas. I particularly love that he keeps them both clean and shiny, and all I have to do is ride! We enjoy getting projects done, but we also love and value time to relax and just take it easy.

So that’s a little bit about us. Two people who love the Lord, love each other and love what He has called us to do!
